PROTECTION SYSTEMS STABILIZED FROM OVERHEADS AND MEDIUM AND HIGH FREQUENCY HARMONICS FOR LOW VOLTAGE POWER SUPPLY NETWORKS.

Unified Protection Systems (SPUs) are surge protectors consisting of several redundant and coordinated protection sets conceived under criteria of maximum discharge capacity and minimum residual voltage. Its design allows the implementation of accessory modules, as well as their adaptation to the needs of each installation, putting the security and the proper functioning of it.

The SPUs have been designed to guarantee the protection of the installations protected by them against any type of transient overvoltage, both of atmospheric and industrial origin, MF / AF harmonics and peaks associated with the micro-cutouts. In addition, the optional addition of the PTR4 set will protect the system against permanent overvoltages, undervoltages and phase asymmetry, this set being programmable in time and voltage.

ADVANTAGES AND BENEFITS OF INSTALLING OUR SPU SYSTEMS


Our protection systems have been designed to protect all types of electrical and electronic installations of any power, especially those with sensitive electronic equipment.

Installing the SPUs will prevent installations from being affected by:

Transient surges: Because the residual voltage of the SPU is adjusted to the maximum voltage of the installation protected by it, its high discharge capacity as well as the differential protection (protection between active conductors), in the case of Rays, peaks associated with micro-cutouts, starters and shutdowns of motors or any type of transient surges, our protection systems avoid frank and latent breakdowns in all the electrical and electronic equipment of the installation, considerably reducing the costs of electrical maintenance or loss of raw material.

Permanent surges: In case of neutral cut-off, transformer failure, phase-to-ground failure, power supply defects, the SPU automatically disconnected (as long as the client wishes) the installation acting on the Emission coil Associated with the line switch to be protected. The SPU allows to program the voltage from which to cause the disconnection as well as the time of action. Requires addition of the PTR4 / 220 or PR4 / 220-O assembly.

Micro-cuts: In low-power installations they are able to avoid the stoppage of the productive processes caused by the micro-cutout holes.

Harmonics: Eliminate MF / AF harmonics, being able to eliminate BF harmonics in low power installations. AF harmonics, generated mainly by variable speed drives, can affect the control and communication systems, causing them to fail and deprogramming. With the installation of our protection systems will avoid errors in communications caused by harmonics (between servers, PCs, PLCs and maneuvers) and the reach and communication speeds will be maximum.

Undervoltages: In case of voltage drops, transformer failure, or defects in the electrical supply, they will automatically disconnect (if the client so wishes) the installation acting on the emission coil associated with the desired line switch Protect, avoiding the consequent damages by overcurrents. Phase Asymmetry: Monitors the asymmetry of the triangle of the supply voltages in three-phase installations according to EN-61000-4-30, sending a signal that can be used to disconnect the installation in case the asymmetry exceeds the set value. Requires the addition of a PR4 / 220 or PR4 / 220-O assembly.

Electromagnetic Compatibility: Electrical disturbances produced inside the installations protected by our systems do not revert to the network, complying with the electromagnetic compatibility directive.
